Ask an Appalachian Trail Thru Hiker - What's up with Blue Blazes

We’re jumping into the wayback machine here and finding the videos we made when when Moe thru hiked the Appalachian Trail. Some of these videos were originally done for our old outdoors blog (Adventures in the Outdoors). Moe also kept a journal of his thru hike, which is available on the old website.

We'll also work on transferring the journal here, but it’s going to take some work! In the meantime we figured it would be fun to share these videos.

In this video, Moe is talking about Blue Blazing, or following the side trails of the Appalachian Trail to places you might not see if you only walk on the Appalachian Trail!
